Petra (Yael Grobglas) follows a lead with the help of Chuck (guest star Johnny Messner) that could help her sister’s case. Rafael (Justin Baldoni) takes Jane’s advice and tries to come clean with Petra. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) is angry with Xo (Andrea Navedo) when she blows him off, but is shocked when he learns the reason why. Meanwhile, Alba (Ivonne Coll) is appalled by a comment a customer makes in the gift shop and decides to take a political stance.

Teen Wolf man-beast Tyler Posey is joining the cast of Jane the Virgin as someone from our titular heroine’s past, TVLine has learned. He will make his first appearance in the May 22 Season 3 finale and is slated to return for the already-ordered Season 4. One has to wonder if Posey’s character is the same guy referenced in the March 27 episode, which opened with the Narrator saying Jane “has been passionately in love with exactly three men in her life. The first was…. actually, I’m not ready to introduce him yet. We’ll get there.”

In Season 3 of the series, Jane endeavors to complete her graduate thesis, while dealing with the unexpected death of her husband, Michael (Brett Dier). The big question of the day was: “Why did Michael have to die?” – “It was always part of the journey that I envisioned at the beginning about a woman who really believed in fantasy and the magic of romance and had big dreams in her life. And things don’t work out like that all the time,” Urman told the audience. “It’s always been about the balance, the shift from leaving her relationship between fantasy and reality. Michael’s death — the show started with such a big earthquake for Jane when she found out she was unexpectedly pregnant, and Michael’s death was always going to be the midpoint of the show where everything changed again in her life and everything changed for everyone around her.” Adding that in a telenovela you want to build to an ending and have that ending in sight, she continued. “Our show is about how do you go on. [..] Loss is always something that we all face [..] and I wanted to explore that and figure out how we could find the comedy and the joy after an event like that.” Gina, who was heartbroken about losing her onscreen husband, said that Urman had always kept them in the dark about what’s next said it was “a challenge as an actor because usually you know where your character is going. You know your character’s journey but it’s been really incredible to walk through this series and Jane’s story like walking through life, which is necessarily not knowing what’s going to happen next.”                          source : Deadline.com

Playing off of Gina’s passion for boxing, the brand is debuting an equality video that follows Rodriguez for a day of training in the ring. Her strength, determination and resilience shine as an example to women everywhere to keep moving forward in the journey for equality and pay parity.
