Hello everyone, May 20th, Gina went to the 2017 Vulture Festival at Milk Studios in New York City and joined a part of the cast of ‘Jane The Virgin’ for the promotion of the series which is coming to an end and which will begin again this fall. Hey oh surprise, we also find Brett Dier who is no longer in the series since the 3×10, so it is strange but cool that he is present for this panel where obviously everyone to laugh. + HQ Pictures are available in the gallery.

Hello everyone, May 19th, Gina hits TV sets to promote her upcoming projects this year and this time it is on the set of ‘This Morning’ from the CBS chain in New York. (Unfortunately we only have one video of her appearance, no official photos, or even a candid appeared. Gina joins ‘CBS This Morning’ to discuss how the show addresses topics like immigration, its relatability to all cultures and her morning mantra.

Hello everyone, May 18th, It is with pleasure that we find Gina, still on promotion, who went to the 2017 CW Upfront Presentation at The London Hotel in New York. CW being the broadcast channel of ‘Jane The Virgin’, Gina has of course promoted during a panel where different things have been said including Season 4 to come this fall. It is a pity that the rest of the team wasn’t present with Gina but it does not stop that it remains sublime, very smiling and we like to see it also radiant.. + HQ Pictures are available in the gallery.

New rumor project for Gina in Miss Bala

Catherine Hardwicke is in talks to direct Miss Bala, the remake of the Mexican film that was nominated for Best Foreign Film in 2011. I’ve heard the studio is heavily courting Gina Rodriguez, among other actresses (like Michelle Rodriguez) She doesn’t have the role yet but is the front-runner. Hardwicke has separately been circling The Phantom Tollbooth, which is at sister label TriStar project. If the studio gets a star tof Miss Bala quickly, Hardwicke won’t likely catch the other train. Kevin Misher and Pablo Cruz are producing, Andy Berman is executive producer. Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer is adapting the script by original director Gerard Naranjo and Mauricio Katz.

The film is an adaptation of the Mexican entry for best foreign-language film at the 84th Academy Awards in 2011. It centers on a woman named Laura Guerrero who, along with her friend, enters a Miss Baja beauty pageant. She witnesses during rehearsals a gang killing Drug Enforcement Administration agents and nightclub-goers, which turns her life upside down. She’s then kidnapped by the men and forced to work for them in the deadly drug war.

Synopsis – Jane (Gina Rodriguez) struggles to find the right words for Rogelio (Jaime Camil) and Xo’s (Andrea Navedo) ceremony, when she learns about a mysterious letter that Michael wrote before their wedding. Rogelio and Xo are excited for their big day, but Rogelio gets some shocking news that could put things on hold. Once again Rafael (Justin Baldoni) is upset with Luisa (guest star Yara Martinez) and asks her to leave, but Luisa has a plan of her own. Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Grobglas) is skeptical about Jane’s feelings for Rafael which leads her to make a rash decision.
